Futureproof Continues To Expand Dance Catalogue With New Label Bigger Deer Recordings

Creative passion and ambition led Lewis Ryder to establish his own label, Bigger Deer Recordings in early 2008, where he could explore and expand on his unique musical style. The first release, ‘Empty Draw’ received top reviews from James Zabiela, Dylan Rhymes, Funk D’Void and Andrew Grant. His follow up ‘Techno Birds’, featuring Anil Chawla and Maher Daniel on remix duties was featured on John Digweed’s Transitions Radio show.
Since then, Lewis has enjoyed production support from Desyn Masielo, Alex Tepper, Eddie Richards, Nic Fanciulli, Hernan Cattaneo, Laurent Garnier and many many more on numerous projects.
2010 is already shaping up to be a great year for Lewis and the Bigger Dear imprint ,with release's penned in from none other than Techno legend Terry Francis. July will see Lewis put out his 15th release on Bigger Deer "Thursday Night" features rmx's from Alecs Marta , Uone & Paul Loraine. We are happy to annonce that we have just added Mija Recordings to our ever growing digital distribution roster. Mija Recordings run by House & Techno vetran Louis Osbourne , a true purveyor of underground Tech House music.
After 17 years of DJing, Louis’ passion for cutting edge house and techno remains as strong as the time he attended his first clubs back in 1991. Mija Recordings is a project that enables Louis to share his love of electronic music with the world, and to create a product that he can develop around his own musical experience.
So far the label has seen releases and remixes from Android Cartel, Jet Project, Alan Fitzpatrick, Celtec Twinz, Jamie Anderson, Psycatron, Miniminds, M.in, Daniele Papini, Mr. K-Alexi, UES, Jon Gurd and Osbourne & Anderson.
May 2010 sees Mija release an EP from Carlo featuring Mihai Popoviciu & Elef
Remixes, with further EP’s and remixes due
in the next months from the Dirty Tourists, Mutant Clan (Timo
Maas & Santos), Jamie Anderson, Stacey Pullen, Fish Go Deep, Coyu, Per Hammar & Thor, while Louis is
preparing

Fresh out the studio comes debut release Another Day from London based dance collective Dance4Daddy. This 8 remix package is a fine blend of the incredible vocal force that is Jacy Mai, a polished and soulful production, some thumping basslines and great hooks.
Another Day has continued to climb the Music Week Upfront club charts now residing at number 22 overtaking BassHunter ,Kelis & Kelly Roland.
